Conflict with Zone Alarm Pro

Since I upgraded to Zone Alarm Pro Power Tools doesn't fully connect. When I get to the Tech Help Support window it flickers as if trying to establish a link. If I click anywhere on the window Power Tools becomes "not responding"

Zone Alarm Pro does contain a Spyware Scanner which falsely identifies PowerTools as "BlackBox" and quarantines a required component. PowerTools (and any other BPS Software Title) does NOT contain any form of Spyware.

Fixing this issue is very easy.
(I'm using Zone Alarm Security Suite so my steps might be a little different than yours on Pro, but the concept should be the same...)

1. Open the Zone Alarm Pro options panel
2. Click on "Antivirus/Spyware" button
3. At the top of this section, click on the "Quarantine" tab.
4. Next to Quarantined View: make certain "Spyware" is selected here instead of "Viruses"
5. Locate "BlackBox" in the list, click on the "Restore" button.

Next you'll need to adjust the treatment options for the Spyware Scanner so it doesn't automatically quarantine the file the next time it is found.

1. At the top if this section, click back to the "Main" tab.
2. Click on the "Advanced Options" link under Spyware.
3. Click on the "Automatic Treatment" link, then uncheck this option.

Run a Spyware Scan now... when "BlackBox" appears in the list, make certain you change it from Quaratine to "Ignored Always" and you won't have this problem again.
