Not sure if this was a PT thing or aol, but once upon a time one could type something like $IM-OFF into the text block of an IM being sent to a person and block that person in IM's...unblocking was $IM-ON. I am not sure about the command but it was something like that. Is it still available? Or did I just imagine it was ever there. Pretty sure I didn't imagine it....

Yes, I remember that also. I think it was an AOL command. Not sure if it still works.

Wonder if Carole or Jeromy are going to respond to this one.

It's an AOL feature, which I don't believe exists anymore...
It's $IM_OFF or $IM_ON

You can block IMs to a specific person by clicking the Option button on the PowerIM window, then clicking the "Ignore" or "Block" feature, depending on what you want to do. That will auto send the $IM_OFF command. If you then want to send an IM to that person, just send an IM and PT will ask if you want to turn off the block. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Not sure if this was a PT thing or aol, but once upon a time one could type something like $IM-OFF into the text block of an IM being sent to a person and block that person in IM's...unblocking was $IM-ON.
