Not getting IMs

Has experienced this? My AOL friends say my status goes on and off line frequently during conversations. Yet I don't actually go off line. Many people I IM say they can't IM me because I appear off line to them. When this happens, I can unload PT and I go back on line. If I don't load PT at all, it doesn't happen. My PT report follows:

Some times my IM's will be working and all of a sudden they don't. Sometimes I try to IM and nothing happens and I can usually tell they're not working because the icon doesn't show and the only thing that works is I have to reboot? HELP!!!!

Do these issues occur without PowerTools loaded? They probably will. PowerTools only enhances the windows that AOL creates. It cannot control the receiving or sending of IMs.
