When I type in an IM box I have to continually press the cursor button to be able to keep typing. The cursor starts flickering and no letters are produced when I type. This only happens in PT IM's, no other application.

Is the cursor forced to another AOL window? If so, which?
Please post the BPS System Information Report so I can see which versions of AOL/PowerTools you're using -- along with some specific details that relate to the software:
Directions to post the BPS System Information Report:[/u]
1. Click on START > Point to (All) Programs > BPS Software > BPS System Info.
2. Once this utility loads, and all fields fill with text, click on the "Copy to Clipboard" button.
3. In your reply message board post, simply Right-Click > Select "Paste"
