Wigged out IM Box

I have 2 IM issues... FIRST, many times when I try to send an IM when I've first logged on, the box comes up all greyed out, and I have to log off and back on a couple of times before it works. Someone can IM me though and, then the IM with them works, but I can't initiate it.

SECOND, when someone IM's me, either the IM just plain old disappears, or it comes up like an unfinished text box with most of the IM box icons missing, and the icons from the text box showing through. If I move the cursor over the IM box, some of the icons show up, but not all. I've had PT for about 10 years, and this is the first time I've had any kind of issue. My AOL version is 9.0SE Revision 4184.2340, and I'm using PT 12.0.37. Any help would be appreciated! I have a screen shot if that would help.

Please post your BPS system information following these steps:

1. Click the Windows "Start" button.

2. Click your mouse on "All Programs" to get a list of all installed programs on your system.

3. Click your mouse on the "BPS SoftWare" program group.

4. Click on "BPS System Info" and wait for the window to load completely.

5. Once fully loaded, click the "Copy to Clipboard" button on the "BPS System Info" window (nothing will happen visibly -- please do not copy anything else to the Windows Clipboard until finished.)

6. Click the "Reply" button in this thread, right click in the message body, and then select "Paste" from the menu. This will paste your complete system info in your post.

7. Click the "Post Message" button.

I suspect your problem is due to an older version of PowerTools 12.

PowerTools was updated to address a problem with a specific version of AOL which caused the Send IM to appear incorrectly.
