My power tools address book show me all the entries I have made of a lomng period of time, but suddenly (within the last few days) when I attempt to look at the entries from the Power IM window via the >> button, all of the entries show as blank. When go back and look at the address book, the data is still there.
How do I resolve this issue?

What happens when you try to reset the PowerIM window?
Also, please post the System Information Report so I can look at your program versions:
START > (All) Programs > BPS Software > BPS System Info. Once this utility loads, click on the "Copy to Clipboard" button. In your reply message board post, simply right-click > select Paste.

Resetting the window does nothing.
The BPS System Info utility (BPSSI1.exe) was missing. I reinstalled Powertools, the problem still exists, but the system utility is working.
Also, I have added new items to the address book, and even though I hit SAVE, the items are blank when I go back and look at them, Names are not being filed in, and inserted pictures are not being saved.

Try to Compact > Repair > Compact your PowerTools Address Book.
Open the PowerTools Address Book. Click on the BOOK menu > Select Compact. Once complete, click on BOOK > Select Repair. Once complete, click on BOOK > Select Compact.
Did this solve your problem?
Also there are a number of unnecessary programs set to load with Windows (some are AOL programs) that you can safely disable. Click on START > Click on RUN > Type in MSCONFiG and hit Enter. Click over to the Startup tab and remove the checkmark next to the following items. Once finished, click on Apply > OK > Reboot your computer when you have a chance.
SunJavaUpdateSched HostManager QuickTime Task Picasa Media Detector *Optional, this will automatically detect any new images for picasa - I disabled on my own machine. AOLDialer *Do not disable if you use a modem, dial-up, connection IPHSend ATIPTA nmapp

I thank you for all your suggestions, however none of it work. I eventually just used the system restore and went to a date before the problem existed, that did the trick.
Again thanks for the assistance.

I don't know what would have caused the issue.
You might just want to start backing up your address book routinely so you don't lose any data.
C:\Program Files\PowerTools 12
The address book, by default, was named: AddressBook1.mbd This could be different if you've changed it.
