In the past 2 weeks I have only been able to Initiate an Instant Message with some of the people showing on my AOL buddy list. The ones showing just as screen names or nick names can be IMed as in Fourbr but the ones that show like this "Fourbr" with the Quotation Marks around them when I try to send Instant Message AOL tells me they are not signed onto AOL. I know they are signed on I had AOL check and they said the person I was trying to IM was indeed signed on but I still got "Not Signed On". These people with the quotation marks around their names can IM me with no problem and then we can Chat. But ONLY if they initiate the Instant Message. Why is this??? Can you email me with how to fix?

Go to Keyword: Filtering and Viewing Settings while on AOL. Make certain "Show Friendly Names in my Buddy List" is not checked.
This option really isn't necessary. Using the PowerTabs supplied by PowerTools on your Buddy List will let you quickly see the users PowerTools Address Book entry from the Info tab. From this tab you can quickly add the standard Address Book fields (Name, Address, Phone, etc..) about your user, plus AOL Screen Name, and a Nickname.
