Open the Wav Pro Manager Click on Option > Setup AOL Event Sounds. Here click on the "Restore Defaults" button.
What happens then?

What happens if you go back to the WavPro Manager, click on Options > Setup AOL Event Sounds.
Then using PowerTools setup the default sounds. Click on You've Got Mail. Click on Browse. Navigate to: C:\Program Files\America Online 9.0\sounds\us\gotmail.wav Click on Open.
Does this solve the GotMail problem?
(on my machine, sounds are in the directory listed above, this might be different on your computer - you can easily search your hard drive for the sound file: gotmail.wav)
