AOL has recently updated their product to Revision 4156.5032, AOL 9.0 Optimized SE, this has created problems with bringing up a new IM. Power tools 12.37 editions Pro
The Power tools toolbar at the bottom, with Options, send etc on it loads to the upper left hand side of the New IM. This does not effect sending or anything and once the IM is sent it goes back to its proper place. But this is annoying. Please advise if you will be doing a new update to power tools 12.37s.... Thanks in Advance.

Is your initial installation of AOL from a CD or did you download it? I'm using build: 9.0.4184.5326 and I'm not having any issues with the PowerIM window. I installed from Keyword: UPGRADE.
Could you also email me a screen shot of your PowerIM window.
To create a screen shot: 1. Make sure you can SEE what want to capture on your screen. 2. Press the PRINT SCRN key (next to the F12 key). 3. Open an email form, put your cursor in the body, RIGHT click and click PASTE. 4. When asked if you want to RESIZE, say NO. 5. Address the email to BPSRocky@aol.com and click on Send Now.

Ok.. I upgraded my aol to Revision 4184.5326 and the IMs are back to 'normal'. So dont know if that will help anyone else.. but it DID help me. One thing I found out tho is that you have to make sure and delete the old copy of aol (the 5032 version) cause PT will find THAT copy and use that... rather than the new one... and then your IMs will still be icky.

I think the problem is revision 4156.5032/4156.5033 is AOL 9.0 Second Edition. This version has been replaced with AOL Security Edition. Second Edition has received numerous "patches" to incorperate the already built-in security features in Security Edition. Using the latest version of AOL from Keyword: UPGRADE ensures you have the most stable build of AOL.
I'd suggest that if anyone is having issues with the Send IM window or PowerIM window not loading correctly, that they look to see if they're using the latest AOL 9.0 Security Edition (at the time of this posting):
9.0.4184.5326

PowerTools automatically remembers the last AOL you used. You could have simply launched the NEW AOL, then launched PowerTools. This would have associated PowerTools to the new AOL installation.
