What happens when you try to open the PowerIM window?
Do you receive any error messages?
Are you able to send/receive Instant Messages?
What window do you see when you receive IMs?

The aol IM window loads, & when you got to reset Power Im's it can't find the window

Does any1 even chk these POSTS ? Gezzzzz I've been wantin an answer for weeks....... PLEASE HELP

Sorry for the delay in the posts. We all volunteer here (which means we don't get paid) outside of our full time job(s) and I personally just made a three hour move and have been trying to get settled in.

Try the following to see if this helps with your problem:

[Exit/close PowerTools before you perform these steps]

1. Click the Windows Start button, click Run, and enter: REGEDIT
2. Double click to expand the HKEY_CURRENT_USER folder.
3. Double click to expand Software, then expand BPS SoftWare.
4. Double click to expand PowerTools .
5. With the PowerTools folder highlighted, look for:
PowerIM <-- delete that subfolder.
PowerIM Options <-- delete that subfolder.
PowerIMF2 <-- delete that subfolder.
6. Close the Registry Editor, and restart PowerTools.
