I will be in IM's and my font will "unbold". There doesn't seem to be a pattern, but it happens with every IM.

I have the same issue, and it usually happens when I have more than 1 IM open at the same time. On checking the fonts, I find the font has switched from bold to normal.
I found that closing the IM and opening it new will solve the issue for a period of time.

It doesn't seem to make any difference how many IM's I have open... and yes, closing the IM and reopening it does "fix" the problem, but then it happens again.

This used to be a random issue with "regular" AOL IMs. Have either of you tried to disable the PowerTools enhancement of the IM window to see if you can duplicate it without PowerTools? Just curious.  |
