Please post your BPS System Information following these steps:
1. Click the Windows "Start" button.
2. Click your mouse on "All Programs" to get a list of all installed programs on your system.
3. Click your mouse on the "BPS SoftWare" program group.
4. Click on "BPS System Info" and wait for the window to load completely.
5. Once fully loaded, click the "Copy to Clipboard" button on the "BPS System Info" window (nothing will happen visibly -- please do not copy anything else to the Windows Clipboard until finished.)
6. Click the "Reply" button in this thread, right click in the message body, and then select "Paste" from the menu. This will paste your complete system info in your post.
7. Click the "Post Message" button.

For starters, lets disable some of the unnecessary programs that load with Windows. You had, at the time of your posting, 41 running processes. That's ten more than what I currently have. Disable Unnecessary Startup Programs: - Click on START
- Click on RUN
- Type in MSCONFiG and hit Enter
- Click over to the Startup tab
- Remove the checkmarks next to the following items:
PHIME2002ASync PHIME2002A SMSERIAL SunJavaUpdateSched SoundMan Ulead AutoDetector IMJPMIG8.1 EmailChecker C:\APPS\EmailChecker\ech.exe *Do you know what this program is?* QuickTime Task MessengerPlus3 (optional) NeroFilterCheck TkBellExe
- When finished, hit Apply > OK. Restart your computer.
After you restart, try sending a bold Instant Message, then close the PowerIM window. Does PowerTools remember the bold font preference now? What happens if you change your font preference at Keyword: SETTINGS > Font/Text to bold and click on Save?
