and there is nothing I can do to bring it back down to normal size. What did you try exactly to bring it back to normal size? If you haven't yet, try to click on the button to the left of the red X on the IM window itself (not the one on the AOL window.) This should restore the IM window to its normal size.

That is the problem, there is no scroll bar to scroll up to see the button to bring it back down to normal size. It's kinda hard to explain..........

John, While the PowerIM window is loaded, click on the menu "Window" (at the top of your monitor), and select "Cascade". This should positition all of your windows in an easy to reach location. You will need to rearrange your window preferences. Also, I noticed from your System Information Report that you have a particularly annoying spyware installed on your computer. This Spyware has been known to cause various logging issues within PowerTools as well as frequent lags/freezes. You should download Lavasofts Ad-Aware SE Personal and allow it to scan your computer to remove: My Web Search Bar rundll32 C:\PROGRA~1\MYWEBS~1\bar\1.bin\MWSBAR.DLL,S MyWebSearch Email Plugin C:\PROGRA~1\MYWEBS~1\bar\1.bin\mwsoemon.exe Details on where you can download this free tool to remove unwanted Spyware can be found here.

Thank you. I have noticed that it only does the max Power IM Window that I cant resize without cascading IF the S/N is not on my buddy list. IF the S/N is on my buddy list the Power IM Windows is normal size. How can I fix this problem?

The PowerIM window remembers the last window position. Once you set the window to the location you want, send a few IMs, then close the window. It should revert back to the place you had it last.
If it does not, please let me know.

I have the same problem with my IM window, when I reeive one it maximizes, no scroll ar to find the top to reduce it, it happens if the sn is on or not on my buddy list. I am running AOL 9.0 and Power Tools 12.0.37. It does not happen with AOL alone only with PT running.

EdwiIf I try to bring ANY other window to the front during an IM, the IM disappears. If someone IMs me, there is no IM box at all. My only fix is to send an IM to the individual, and then I see the total IM in the box, as well as the other IMs there. BUT, I don't always know who is IMing me. This has been happening for about a week. I am on PowerTools 12.0.37, and just reinstalleed AOL 12 Security Edition.

Please start your own thread and post your system information following these steps: 1. Click the Windows "Start" button. 2. Click your mouse on "All Programs" to get a list of all installed programs on your system. 3. Click your mouse on the "BPS SoftWare" program group. 4. Click on "BPS System Info" and wait for the window to load completely. 5. Once fully loaded, click the "Copy to Clipboard" button on the "BPS System Info" window (nothing will happen visibly -- please do not copy anything else to the Windows Clipboard until finished.) 6. Click the "New Thread" button in the appropriate board and type a subject, right click in the message body, and then select "Paste" from the menu. This will paste your complete system info in your post. 7. Click the "Post Message" button.
