with im logging on it only saves one or 2ims per session and buddy list messages is unchecked, i loaded lastest versionof pt and it workd for about 2 ims and then quit saving them again

Could you please post your system information following these steps:
1. Click the Windows "Start" button.
2. Click your mouse on "All Programs" to get a list of all installed programs on your system.
3. Click your mouse on the "BPS SoftWare" program group.
4. Click on "BPS System Info" and wait for the window to load completely.
5. Once fully loaded, click the "Copy to Clipboard" button on the "BPS System Info" window (nothing will happen visibly -- please do not copy anything else to the Windows Clipboard until finished.)
6. Click the "Reply" button in this thread, right-click in the message body, and then select "Paste" from the menu. This will paste your complete system info in your post.

Please follow these directions and let us know if the problem still occurs:
1. Click on START > on the right-side pane Select SEARCH 2. Search for *.LYT (you can copy and paste this) 3. Change the "Look In:" to search your C:\ drive 4. Click on "Search Now" button. 5. In the results column, right-click on any file located within: C:\Program Files\PowerTools 12\Tools and select "Delete".

This sounds like a limitation of an unregistered version of PowerTools... have you registered PowerTools already?
