strikeout font in chat room

When in a chat room, I type <s> then a word to make it appear in strikeout, other chatters can see it, but I can not when I have my pt's on, is there a way for me to see it as well..it use to work..

I thought AOL removed the ability to use strike thru a while ago.

Does this work without PowerTools loaded?
