I just installed aol 9.0se and power tools 12.38 on a new computer. When I enter a chat room the PT chat room appears briefly and then is replaced by the aol chat room. I cant find the place where you tell it to use the power tools chat room.

Turns out I made a mistake about what was happening. Its the aol chat room window appearing for a second and then the PT chat window appears. However, the icons along the bottom of the members listing windows arent appearing. The notify, ignore, etc. It shows to list icons when you click on the PT icon at the top left of the chat window.

Try resizing the panels in PowerChat.
This can be done by moving your mouse to the thick gray divider lines, click and hold the mouse, then drag it to a newer location.
If that doesn't work, try this:
Close PowerTools and searching your entire C:\ drive for the following file types:
*.LYT
There should be three, located at C:\Program Files\PowerTools 12\Tools folder.
Delete all three files.
Launch PowerTools.
Did this solve your problem with the buttons/toolbars?
