Typing chat

Since reloaing AOL and PT, after reloading the OS, I have noticed that when I am typing something to be sent to the chat room my cursor will disappear and I have to click with the mouth to get it back. Some say this is a common occurence with AOL without PT due to advertisement interference.

HOWEVER, I don't ever remember seeing it before. Just since I have reloaded the system and the programs.

Am I overlooking something or setting on PT that will suppress this?

This is indeed a problem with AOL, unrelated to PowerTools. There's nothing we can do about it, sorry.

I thought PT suppressed those Advertisements. I KNOW for sure that I didn't have this problem before I reloaded everything.

There is no PowerTools setting that will completely remove the AOL advertisement (when the AOL ad changes it steals the cursor).

I don't know why this effects some users and not others.
I never experienced the problem on my own machine, but while using my mothers computer I noticed it on hers.

Another user on these forums said that using a "program" to block AOL Ads works -- but I wouldn't know anything more about those.

I've always suggested that users try without PowerTools to see if the AOL Ad is indeed stealing the cursor -- then visit Keyword: TELL US to voice your concern.
