Used to be an old customer of power tools... loved it... but quit going to aol chats for a few years. Recently started visiting chat rooms again and missed my power tools. So I d/l and registered the newest version a week ago. All is going well except one thing.... the color scheme. It works fine under one screen name.... but when I switch to another screen name, the chat I type into the chat box is the font I have chosen and a plain color show in the chat box (normal, as it usually switches when it shows up in the chat window itself)... but when I click send my chat appears in the exact same blue as the screen names are and the in the same font as the screen names are??? So the color scheme is not working. I turned pt and aol off rebooted... went back in... still works perfectly for one screen name ... but still get the blue (no color scheme) for the other. I have read all the threads on here...and I am stumped?? Help please!

At the moment I don't have access to PowerTools (Vista user here.. .. But it sounds as if you've assigned yourself a specific user color in the chat room. Right-click on your name in the chat, select the option to choose a color for the members font.... is your name listed? If so, highlight it and click on the "Delete" button. Let me know your results.
