Hi there! I posted this message several months ago and the fix that you suggested to delete the Rich chat Window to fix this problem worked until today. I no longer can get a power window with PTs 10x and AOL 8.0. I also have, on my other account, PTS 12 and AOL 9. I prefer 10x and 8 for "hosting" and other features that 8 has so I have not upgraded to 9 on this account. The power window works great in AIM rooms, Member rooms and buddy chat rooms. But in conference rooms I cannot get a power window. Very occasionally it will work for a few days and then it does not work anymore. Thank you so much for any further help you may offer. I really do love 10x for so many things, but mainly I prefer AOL 8 for ease of so many features. Jo

Jo,
Aside from deleting the PowerChat options in the Windows Registry -- or trying to "Reset PowerChat" there isn't much that can be done with PowerTools 10. We've sunsetted this build, which means no further updates of any kind will be offered.
If you want to post the BPS System Information Report I can at least see if all of the necessary files are available or if there is something specific in the error log. Otherwise if the window simply isn't working because of an AOL change there simply isn't anything I can do.
To post the BPS System Information Report:
1. Click on START > Point to (All) Programs > BPS Software > BPS System Info.
2. Once the utility opens, and the fields fill with text, click on the "Copy to Clipboard" button.
3. In your reply message board post, simply right-click > select "Paste".

Hiya Rocky, Sorry I am so late responding to you. I tried to perform the task that you requested by going to Start-> all programs-> etc, but BPS powertools is not in that menu at all. I tried to fix this issue, but to no avail. any suggestions how to fix that so I can give you the information that you request?
Thank you so much,
Jo

The BPS System Information utility is also available from the PowerTools "Help" menu (at least it is in PT 12. I haven't used PowerTools 10 in years, so I'm not sure the utility was also available from the Help menu in that version.)

Alternative directions:
Just search your computer for the following file: BPSSi1.exe When you locate it (should be in the C:\Program Files\PowerTools 10 directory) just follow the steps outlined in my first post above.
