Hello. I have been using PTools for YEARS and I love it.
I just noticed that as of today, suddenly, I can no longer resize the size of the typing area of a chat room, nor can I change the size/width of the user names in a chat room.
Interestingly, when I came into AOL/PT today, the size of the chat room was much smaller (nothing I did, nor did I get booted out of AOL), and my font was back at Arial 10 or 12 pt (whatever the default is).
So, I changed back the font and size - no problem. However, when I went to change the size of the typing area from the standard typing area that AOL gives you to an expanded window, nothing occurs. I could see the double arrows, but nothing happens when you click and drag.
So, I downloaded the newest version of PT 12.0.38 (I was on 12.0.37) and hoped that would resolve things, but it does not.
Then, I closed PT and started AOL separately and after launching AOL started PT, just to see if something different would occur. Nothing did.
I have done nothing else to my system, so I am assuming that AOL has done something, perhaps.
Are others having this same problem?
Thank you for your help.

First, restart your computer. Most annoyances like this can be solved with a simple reboot.
If that didn't solve your problem, reset the settings for the PowerChat window.
[Exit/close PowerTools before you perform these steps] 1. Click the Windows Start button, click Run, and enter: REGEDIT 2. Double click to expand the HKEY_CURRENT_USER folder. 3. Double click to expand Software, then expand BPS SoftWare. 4. Double click to expand PowerTools 12. 5. With the PowerTools 12 folder highlighted, look for: RichChat Window <-- delete that subfolder. 6. Close the Registry Editor, and restart PowerTools.
