when i send a smiley to my chat room it appears as brackets like this [ ]

This happens when you have both AOL and PowerTools set to show smiley icons.
Go to Keyword: SETTINGS >
Chat Preferences >
Uncheck: Show Smilies as Art >
Click on Save.

Have been running the trial version of PT12 with AOL9 and today for sum reasons, smileys in chat have failed to work and are displaying as [] despite none of the settings being changed. I am also experiencing problems with my buddy list not showing everyone who is online at the time.....mainly the buddy section, yet other sections show everyone lol oh and shock p3 player wont load into a room when powertools is loaded. helppppppppppp plz lol
