Has aol changed to the web based chatrooms, reason i ask is while in a chatroom i can't see what i've typed in the chatroom, and how can i disable powerchat from openng until someon Figures out what we can do about thiis problem

okay seems i've even stumped the moderators again come on guys n gals someones gotta have answer, look I'm a cancer patient n was offline over a week, not going into the chats, they've changed my pain meds n because i couldn't load Powertools while in a chatroom, i had no IM manager, hence i halucinated there were too many IM's going off at once. come on moderators i need some help here one way or another either to disable powerchat with pt open come on help here

If the room is now HTML/web based this would indicate PowerChat isn't loading, right?
To disable PowerChat just hold down the CTRL button while entering a room.
Also, I know this sounds silly, but it happens, make certain you didn't place yourself on ignore accidently.

:)Thanks Rocky, i'll give both a try, i did open my own chat n had the same trouble in my pvt room thnks for the Tip! John as far as i know i didn't ignore myeslf n will check that out to thanks again JOhn

You can not put your self on ignore

AOL won't allow you to be placed on ignore, correct. But with the use of PowerChat, once you use "Ignore" PowerChat will prevent that text from appearing on the screen -- so you can ignore yourself.
