bpseditor popping up at power up

Why does bpseditor come up and freeze powertools forcing me to re-install pt again each time this happens?

The BPSEditor.txt file is one PowerTools creates to use the PowerIM window. This window should be hidden.

Since it's occuring during the startup routine of PowerTools I'd save your current toolbar layout (Right click on the toolbar > select Properties > Save button) and Reset the PowerTools Toolbar to see if you have a corrupt layout.

I reset the tool bar and still have the same situation occur. Each time it happens I download the entire program again and it works for a day or so. Then once again when the PT loading bar nears the end I have to hold my breath and sure enough, the BPS editor pops up again and the entire program begins shimmering and then pt tools uninstalls leaving me with AOL. I have been power tools owner since it first appeared years ago, and this problem began with pt 10 version and beyond. It was always an infrequent problem, now it exists almost every time I start my computer. I encountered the same problem on two earlier computers as well.

Are you using the default toolbar when this text document appears?

Please follow these directions to post the BPS System Information Report:

1. Click the Windows "Start" button.

2. Click on "All Programs" to get a list of all installed programs on your system.

3. Click on the "BPS SoftWare" program group.

4. Click on "BPS System Info" and wait for the window to load completely.

5. Once fully loaded, click the "Copy to Clipboard" button on the "BPS System Info" window (nothing will happen visibly -- please do not copy anything else to the Windows Clipboard until finished.)

6. Click the "Reply" button in this thread, right-click in the message body, and then select "Paste" from the menu. This will paste your complete system info in your post.
