To do this, Click on the AOL icon in the upper left hand corner of the Chat room, then click on Chat Preferences, Then make sure there is NO check in Display Smilies as Art and click Save. That was for AOL, now for PT, do you see the smiley at the bottom of your chat room, click on that, then you will see "Display Smilies as Art" click There, then click Enable Smilie Are in PowerChat View. Now try your smilies again and let me know if they work. :-) "waving back" BPS TBear

As for the cursor that disappears while typing, this is an AOL problem -- not caused by PowerTools -- so there's unfortunately nothing we can do about that.

Carol, wouldn't an update help solve this problem? I have the same problem as well as when I use the buddy bar screen name changer, it will take me to the master screen name instead of the one I selected. Is Brad planning on putting out an update soon? It has been months since he did one.

Carol, wouldn't an update help solve this problem? Like I said in my previous post, there's nothing PowerTools can do to correct this problem. We usually only release new revisions when we have a list of confirmed bugs in the program (not things possibly due to temporary changes or glitches with AOL -- and AOL has been making a lot of temporary changes lately.)
