When I am in a chat room with PowerTools activated I frequently have freeze-ups and have to end PT and AOL. When I don't have PT activated it doesn't freeze at all. What is my problem?

Could you please post the BPS System Information Report? This will provide us with the necessary directions to solve your problem quickly.
Please follow these directions to post the BPS System Information Report:
1. Click on START, point to (All) Programs > BPS Software > BPS System Info.
2. Once the fields fill with text, click on the "Copy to Clipboard" button.
3. In your reply message board post, simply right-click and select "Paste"

You could definately use some basic System Maintenance. You have a large number of unnecessary files and a few programs that load with Windows that aren't needed. Follow these directions, let us know if you continue to have any problems: Disable Unnecessary Programs1. Click on START 2. Click on RUN 3. Type in MSCONFiG and hit Enter 4. Click over to the Startup tab 5. Remove the checkmarks next to the following items, when finished, hit Apply > OK and restart your computer. SoundMan IgfxTray gcasServ iTunesHelper QuickTime Task HP Software Update After you restart your computer, launch AOL and visit this keyword for specific directions on how to remove unnecessary hard drive files and to run error-checking (scandisk) and defrag on your computer. 1.
