I was an AOL chatroom host going back to 1997 and I am still doing my chat there. My chat is very macro-dependent, a cooking chat. We know that AOL is planning to change their chatrooms to a html format. Will there be a version of PTs that will work there? If not, I am going to have to find a chat-venue where I can run macros, and ideally, one where I can use the enormous bank of recipes in my Custom Editor.

We should have a chat-related program capable of running macros in the future, but it may not be for AOL this time. It's too early in its development to give more details at this time though. Keep an eye on our web site for any upcoming news

I'm not emotionally attached to it being an AOL chat anymore. Heck, if I can find a chatroom anywhere that is reasonably smooth and I can have the PT functions of macros and chat-log-manager, I will move.
In fact, I would prefer it be off-AOL, by this summer when the free-AOL-for-former-hosts runs out. I hope that's what y'all are working on!
