How does one use the fader in a chat room? On the bottom of the chatroom do you see the word Scheme? If you do click on that and then test out all the different colors in there, if you don't see the word Scheme, than move to the right a bit on the bottom of the chatroom and click on the down arrow and put a check next to the word Scheme and that will put the word on the bottom of your chatroom and again, just click on it and try out all the different colors. Let us know if you have any problems, PT 10 is an older version and not sure exactly what is still working correctly in there as it has been sunsetted (taken out of our library). BPS TBear :-)

Thanks for the help. Everything seems to be working alright... It just won't wave the words. It's all flat.
Was there a version of PT that was free? I was told that PT Lite was free...?

Thanks for the help. Everything seems to be working alright... It just won't wave the words. It's all flat. Maybe you are referring to the "Chat Wrapper" feature? Make sure to check this topic in the help file, as it explains how to use them. Although, like TBear said, some features may no longer function properly in PT 10, since it's pretty old now. No, PowerTools Light Edition was not freeware. It has now been discontinued though.

If it's discontinued, is it now free? I'm confused about that..
I'm talking about the Schemes.. I got the fader to work, but when I put wavy text, it won't allow me to wave the text.

If it's discontinued, is it now free? I'm confused about that.. No, it's been "sunsetted", which means that we no longer update/support the program and, therefore, no longer offer it for purchase or download at all. Because of frequent changes made by AOL to their service, PowerTools can't always maintain full compatibility with AOL without our programmer tweaking it to match those modifications through an update. It is possible this feature no longer works properly, as PT 10 hasn't been updated since it was sunsetted, while AOL may have made changes that affected certain PT features since then. For full compatibility with AOL, we recommend you use the latest PowerTools version.

Thanks. One last question.. A friend gave me links to all the sunsetted programs, meaning I can download them.. That's how I downloaded PT 10.. So PT Lite isnt free, but you don't offer tech support for it, right? I got ya. Thanks

That's correct. We only keep the sunsetted programs available for download for registered users who need to reinstall them.

stevenext question. i have a registration number for power tools 8.........can i up date to the new one and iif i can how do i go about doing it. thanks for any help, PowerTools 8 being several years old, there is no discount to upgrade from version 8 to the latest version 12, sorry. You will need to purchase a new registration number for PowerTools 12 if you want to install that version.
