- Make sure you have the latest version/revision of PowerTools for the version of AOL you are using.
You can check which version/revision you are using from the Help > About screen. If you are not using the latest version, then click the link above to download it, then install it.
If the problem persists after you have installed the latest version, we will need detailed information about your system specifications and running tasks in order to help you.
Please explain the exact problem you are having, and also do the following to obtain your system info:
1. Click the Windows "Start" button.
2. Click your mouse on "All Programs" to get a list of all installed programs on your system.
3. Click your mouse on the "BPS SoftWare" program group.
4. Click on "BPS System Info" and wait for the window to load completely.
5. Once fully loaded, click the "Copy to Clipboard" button on the "BPS System Info" window (nothing will happen visibly -- please do not copy anything else to the Windows Clipboard until finished.)
6. Click the "New Thread" button in the appropriate board (or "Reply" button in your thread if you already have one open for your problem), right click in the message body, and then select "Paste" from the menu. This will paste your complete system info in your post.
7. Click the "Post Message" button
