Jeromy:
First off, thank you for your continued support of this software. I know that you do it all as a volunteer type service without any benefit gained.
Secondly, I had a question concerning getting a new registration number for I.M. Frame Pro.
I currently have my copy of I.M. Frame Pro installed on my desktop. However, I recently purchased a new laptop and am interested in transferring the software to that system and removing it from the desktop. But, I wasn't sure about the whole "new registration number" procedure.
Specifically, if I would post my original information here and get a new number for my new system (if that is even allowed), would I simply then remove the version on my desktop; or, would the software just become disabled automatically on the desktop? (I guess, what I am asking, does the current number automatically check and disable itself, like some software does now-a-days?)
I know the question is probably an odd one. I only ask because I'd prefer not to remove the software from my desktop until I confirm the new registration number works on the laptop (that way I know that I will not be without the software unnecessarily while I'd wait for a replacement number).
I hope my question makes sense.
Thanks again for your time and any response.
Sincerely,
William K. Kunkle, Jr.
Edited to fix spellings.

William,
I can get you a replacement registration number. Just post your current registration details - current serial and registration number of your desktop machine and the serial number for your laptop.
IM Frame has no way of "disabling" itself once registered on a machine.

Thanks! I'll try to be a volunteer here as long as feasibly possible.

Jeromy:
Thanks for the answer. I know the question was odd. I just didn't want to lose access to the copy on my desktop until I was sure the new copy on the laptop was functioning and registered alright.
My current serial number is 2072864553 and the registration number is 605270386 (Pro Version).
My laptop's I.M. Frame serial number is 414905052.
I promise not to use the desktop copy any more after I get it registered on the laptop!
Thanks again,
William K. Kunkle, Jr.

I am sending an email to request your registration number for you now. I will post your number as soon as I receive a reply to the email. -------- William, I see that you're also a moderator/admin on your own forum. One thing I use is a text replacement software for quick replies of the same text (IE: email address, signature, mb tags, or for example, the entire entry I posted above the line break). You might find "Texter" interesting. It's free and can be used for simple text replacement, or more advanced scripting. For screen shots and videos of it "in action" check out this site: Texter

Thanks so much, Jeromy. Haven't got a chance to play with "texter" yet, but I'll PM you and let you know how it goes! Too bad there aren't "Off Topic" forums here to chat back and forth about other things and give you a break from the mass of "lost registration number" requests. Thanks again for your time and effort you put in here!
