I may have posted this under a different topic so i will repost in a new thread. I have a user that is having issues with the IM buddy name populating in the tab field until they reply back to the first IM. This did not happen on IM Frame before i rebuilt his machine and re-registered with BPS Software to get new registration code.

Which exact version/revision of AIM is installed on that system?
Also, please post the BPS system information for the affected system following these steps:
1. Click the Windows "Start" button.
2. Click your mouse on "All Programs" to get a list of all installed programs on your system.
3. Click your mouse on the "BPS SoftWare" program group.
4. Click on "BPS System Info" and wait for the window to load completely.
5. Once fully loaded, click the "Copy to Clipboard" button on the "BPS System Info" window (nothing will happen visibly -- please do not copy anything else to the Windows Clipboard until finished.)
6. Click the "Reply" button in this thread, right click in the message body, and then select "Paste" from the menu. This will paste your complete system info in your post.
7. Click the "Post Message" button.

You're using a very outdated version of IM Frame. Download the latest version 2.6.98 from our web site at www.bpssoft.com, and install it. Let us know if this fixes the problem. |
