IM Frame not receiving IMs after a while

Hello! running pro ver. 2.6.87 and having an issue where I lose recieve ability from one of my buddies- I can still write to that buddy and he sees the mssg, but anything he sends to me doesn't show up. No error mssg on either of our PCs. Works fine for an hour or so, then consistently stops. If he logs off and back on, it works fine again for an hour or so. I am a heavy user (brokerage) of IM, with many 'send all' and lots of traffic. Don't want to give up IM Frame, but it doesn't seem to occur w/ my colleagues who are on plain AIM.

Have you already tried using AIM without IM Frame for a few days, to see if the problem occurs with AIM alone on your system? If not, please do so, and let us know the result.

A third-party program, background process, or even a virus/spyware could be causing this problem.
