Can you please post a System Information here to help us determine what the problem may be. Please give a little more info to exactly what is happening. Here are the directions to post a System Information: Directions: Click on START > All Programs > BPS SoftWare > BPS System Info. Wait until you see text in the boxes. Then click "Copy to Clipboard". In your reply message board post, right-click and click Paste. Thank you. BPS TBear :-)

Please read this topic, which is pinned in the I.M. Frame board: If you are having a problem with I.M. Frame...As BPSTBear said, we need more detailed information about your system and the problem you are experiencing in order to be able to help you. - Which version/revision of I.M. Frame are you using? Make sure you are using the latest version 2.6.87.
- Which version of AIM are you using? Make sure you are using the latest version 5.9.
- And please do the following to obtain your exact system info and running tasks:
1. Click the Windows "Start" button. 2. Click on "All Programs" to get a list of all installed programs on your system. 3. Click on the "BPS SoftWare" program group. 4. Click on "BPS System Info" and wait for the window to load completely. 5. Once fully loaded, click the "Copy to Clipboard" button on the "BPS System Info" window (nothing will happen visibly -- please do not copy anything else to the Windows Clipboard until finished.) 6. Click the "New Thread" button in this board, right click in the message body, and then select "Paste" from the menu. This will paste your complete system info in your post. 7. Click the "Post Message" button. Thanks.

Can someone please tell me ALL the ports that both AOL and IM Frame uses, I want to make sure the ports are open on our Cisco PIX. Thanks. AIM typically uses port 5190, this should be the only port you need to allow access. If AIM can connect to the server then you already have access to this port. Refer to the previous post from Carole, we will need more specific information, as outlined in her post, to fully offer support.

I know that AIM uses 5190-5193. IM Frame has one or two additional ports that need to be opened.

AIM has ports 5190-5193, what are the ports that need to be opened for IM Frame for example on a Cisco firewall?

AIM has ports 5190-5193, what are the ports that need to be opened for IM Frame for example on a Cisco firewall? I.M. Frame does not make any direct connections other than the bpsupdate.exe, which uses the normal Port 80 for web page access, and isn't a requirement for I.M. Frame to operate. If you're experiencing a problem with I.M. Frame, please follow the steps outlined in this post. If you need to post your system information, please start a new separate thread for your particular problem by clicking the "New Thread" button in the I.M. Frame board. Thanks.
