Hi again. I have started a new thread. The good news is Watch Right works fine with Aim 6.1 it records all the im's. The bad news that I hope you can help me with is the new computer has Windows Vista, and every time you log off or reboot the computer Watch Right disables itself automatically. Do you know how I can make it start automatically when windows starts? I don't know too much about Vista yet except that any new computer you buy has it installed. You must be thinking that I am a pain by this time. Sorry bpssoft.proboards12.com/index.cgi?board=watchright&action=display&thread=1184936345&page=1#1184936345

LAR, I imagine this has something to do with the User Access Control (that annoying pop-up window that asks if you want a program to load..). You could probably fix your problem with this step: 1. Click on START > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Task Manager. 2. In the "Actions" column on the far right side, click on "Create Task" 3. On the General Tab, assign a name, Watch Right works. 4. On the General Tab, select the following options: Run whether user is logged on or not Run with highest privledges 5. Now click on the "Actions Tab", select "New" 6. The action should read: Start a Program 7. Now just click on the "Browse" button and navigate to your Watch Right folder (default: C:\Program Files\Watch Right) and select "WREXEC.EXE" If WREXEC.EXE isn't located in that directory, it's probably in your C:\Windows\System 32 folder. Let me know if you have problems, or if it didn't work! An easier step could be to disable UAC (User Access Control), but that was designed to be a security system. I disabled mine.

Thanks, I am glad that someone knows something about Vista. I tried your suggestion, and it didn't work, but when I went into MSCONFIG the wrexec.exe was not listed at all, and it was on the old computer. I down loaded the program file again, and re-installed it. It is now listed in the startup and appears to be working fine now. I am posting this in case someone else has the same problem. I really don't know why it didn't install properly the first time. So I guess we can assume that it's compatible with Windows Vista and Aim Ver. 6.1.41.2. Thanks for keeping this forum going for people like me that need all the help they can get
