What else are you trying to monitor? Besides IMs (non-web-based) and AOL email, the only other thing Watch Right can monitor are Intertnet Explorer browsing sessions (this consists of a list of links visited only.) Is this what you're having problems with? Please be more specific.

You are using an outdated version of Watch Right. Please download the latest version (2002.0.79) from our web site at www.bpssoft.com, then install it.

MyWebSearch Email Plugin C:\PROGRA~1\MYWEBS~2\bar\1.bin\mwsoemon.exe

Your system information also indicates that you have My Web Search installed on your computer. This is a known spyware program which has caused problems with our (and other) software before. Please go to the Windows Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs > and double-click on the entry named: Smiley Central or MyWebSearch to uninstall this program.

You also need to make sure that all your antivirus and antispyware programs are set to always allows or ignore Watch Right (including AOL Safety and Security.)

If you are still experiencing problems after doing all the above, please post your updated system information using the BPS System Info tool again so we can look further into it.

i removed the my search and smiley central i also downloaded the newest version but it still not monitoring websites visited it used to now it just stopped doing it only ims and emails

Sorry, one more question....

Is it the internal AOL browser or the external IE browser you're having problems with? Have you tried testing both to see if one works and not the other?

Also, you could do with some system maintenance on your computer.
According to this, you have a lot of wasted space on your system:

Windows Temp Directory Contains 1131 files.

I created a message board post here which contains a list of maintenance steps you should periodically do to ensure a smooth and peppy system.

From the main site, click on the boards named "Important Info & Trouble Shooting Tips" (or click this link).
The posts you should review are (and complete the steps in the order listed here):

Disabling Unnecessary Startup Items
Delete Unnecessary Files on your Hard Drive (this will remove the large TEMP directory I mentioned above)
Scandisk/Defrag Windows

If you have any questions about how to proceed with any of those steps, please just let us know.

I have done everything that you said to do above. it is still not monitoring either AOL or IE browser. i have defraged, scan disk,cleared temp. files, and disabled start up programs and downloaded the updated watch right but it still is not monitoring the websites for either. I did recently update my IE and that is when it stopped monitoring websites visited on both AOL and IE

I did recently update my IE

Can you launch IE > click on HELP (if it is IE 7 you'll see double arrows on right of "Tools", click those to view HELP) > About IE.
What is the version number listed please?

I haven't done any testing to see if Watch Right is compatible with IE 7 yet.

AOL uses components of the version of Internet Explorer you have installed.
Since you've updated IE, it would effect AOL's browsing ability too.

I'll have the programmer check for compatibility issues with IE 7.

I just got word that IE 7 and Watch Right seem to be working fine.

Do you have a spyware detection program installed on your computer?
If so, which? Certain spyware programs prevent Watch Right from running. The two free spyware programs listed in this article do not mis-identify our software as spyware.
Download one of these two programs, allow the program to update it's internal signature files, and run a complete scan on your system.

Protecting Yourself From Spyware.

I have been having problems with the watch right ever since i installed the latest verion IE. I used to be able to see all the sites visited on aol and IE and now i see nothing. The only thing i can monitor is IMs and emails. There is a problem with the emails though. I can't see who they are from they either say they are recieved from the screen name you are monitoring ( your own screenname) or from the following ta lsland ][XMLid which is not an email address or it will say from an other email address that is in your address book but it is not the address who sent the email. Also a sent email it say it was sent to you screename or to this ta lsland ][XMLid . which is wrong too. I am very disappointed with this program right now it was working fine but it a waste of space right now cause it is not working properly. I have reset the program i have deleted it and reinstalled it. Nothing is working. Could you please help me fix the problem so it will work properly???

I did everything you told me even used that spyware program that was recommended because i don't have one. even unintalled aol and watch right and reinstalled them the only thing that was fix is the ims and emails now have the right name with them but still does not monitor websites visited on aol or IE. also when i reintalled the watch right did not ask for reg. # or a new password and when i opened watch right is had old IMs and emails that i had previously deleted. i also deleted alot of other things on my puter that i don't use. I am just frustrated with this program and have basically given up cause it worked just fine and then when i upgraded the IE that is when it changed and never worked properly again. i am at my wits end and am going to be looking into another program.

Not to mention now there are even more problems with it when you check the logs the emails viewed are under the wrong screename and now some come up under guest and i have guest disabled, so the only thing that this program does now is monitor emails but they are assigned under wrong screennames for example, if i read mine they are under my husbands or some are under guest and visa versa
