this has been a problem in the past. I had been able to fix it before by doing a system restore on my computer, back to a time when all was working. This has been an off and on problem for some time, but this time I can't seem to get it working again on my own.

Please follow these directions to post the BPS System Information Report:
1. Click the Windows "Start" button.
2. Click on "All Programs" to get a list of all installed programs on your system.
3. Click on the "BPS SoftWare" program group.
4. Click on "BPS System Info" and wait for the window to load completely.
5. Once fully loaded, click the "Copy to Clipboard" button on the "BPS System Info" window (nothing will happen visibly -- please do not copy anything else to the Windows Clipboard until finished.)
6. Click the "Reply" button in this thread, right-click in the message body, and then select "Paste" from the menu. This will paste your complete system info in your post.

Several system files necessary for Watch Right to run properly are missing from your installation. These are mistakingly being deleted or blocked by miscellaneous antivirus and antispyware programs (I see in your system information that you use McAfee Antivirus, which erroneously identifies Watch Right as spyware.) You will need to set all such scanning programs on your system to allow or ignore Watch Right, and then reinstall Watch Right.

I keep checking my antispyware programs to make sure that watchright is allowed and it is listed in the allow section. I have watch right on another computer which also uses AOL safety and security and it never seems to be a problem on that computer. Is there anything else that I could try?

Did you check McAfee, AOL Safety and Security, and SpywareDoctor? I personally use Ad-Aware, Spybot, and AVG Antivirus, which doesn't falsely identify our software as Spyware for my protection. To save on your systems reboot time and performance you can disable these programs if you'd like. Disable Unnecessary Startup Programs: - Click on START
- Click on RUN
- Type in MSCONFiG and hit Enter
- Click over to the Startup tab
- Remove the checkmarks next to the following items:
SunJavaUpdateSched UpdateManager RealTray HostManager AOLDialer [Do not disable AOLDialer if you use a modem, dial-up, connection] Pure Networks Port Magic iTunesHelper QuickTime Task
- When finished, hit Apply > OK. Restart your computer.
