After you have registered a username on this forum, an activation code will be sent to the email address you provided at the time of registration. The sender will be nobody@proboards.com, so make sure your email service does not block this email address.
AOL will block the activation code email, so we recommend you use an alternate email address when registering (i.e. Yahoo, Gmail, Hotmail...) Also, make sure to check in your junk mail folder if you do not see the activation code email within a couple hours.
Logging In The First Time
1. Go check your mail. The email's subject will say something like: "Welcome to The BPS SoftWare - Technical Support Forum".
Your activation code will be diplayed in the email.
2. Click on the activation code link in the email. This will open a new browser window with the login page.
If the activation code was not automatically pasted in the "Activation Code" box, copy and paste it from the email you received into the "Activation Code" box on the Login screen.
Your password is cAsE-sEnSiTiVe!!
3. Next to "Stay logged in for:", select "Forever" from the drop-down box. This way you will not be asked for your username and password every time you visit the forum.
4. Click the "Login" button.
Your browser must accept cookies from this site in order to log in and stay logged in.
You can confirm that you are logged in if you see your chosen username at the top of the window. If you are NOT logged in, it will say "Welcome Guest" instead.
