I was wondering how to reset my password. I used the trial version of Watch Right first. My trial period expired and I forgot my password. I then purchased Watch Right and assumed it would let me enter a new password. It did not. I tried using the registration number but that did not work either. Now I can not get into the system at all. I can only get to the screen with the atomic clock and no further. What do I do?

Normally, entering the registration number in place of the password should work to open the Watch Right Control Panel. Are you sure you typed the registration number correctly? Also, note that your registration number will only work on the computer on which you originally installed and purchased Watch Right. If you have installed the program on a new computer, you can request a new registration number free of charge following these steps.

I'm definitely using the correct registration number and only on the computer it was installed on. I'll try getting a new registration number and see if that works.
Thanks

Thanks You shouldn't need a new Registration number unless you have formatted the drive on that computer. The one you have should work. Are you copy and pasting it or are you typing it in. If you are copying and pasting it......try typing it in the field and see if that helps. Make sure you don't miss anything when doing this. Are you getting any errors while doing it. Please send us a System Information so we can see if anything is going on at all. One of us will take a look at it. Thank you. Here are the directions for posting this info: 1. Click the Windows "Start" button. 2. Click your mouse on "All Programs" to get a list of all installed programs on your system. 3. Click your mouse on the "BPS SoftWare" program group. 4. Click on "BPS System Info" and wait for the window to load completely. 5. Once fully loaded, click the "Copy to Clipboard" button on the "BPS System Info" window (nothing will happen visibly -- please do not copy anything else to the Windows Clipboard until finished.) 6. Click the "New Thread" button in this board (or "Reply" button in your thread if you already have one open for your problem), right click in the message body, and then select "Paste" from the menu. This will paste your complete system info in your post. 7. Click the "Post Message" button. BPS TBear :-)

I recently changed my password and forgot it. How can I get back into the software? Type your Watch Right registration number instead of your forgotten password. This should open the WR Control Panel, from which you can set a new password.
