I don't use aol or aim. I'm just logging the websites visited. I've had the program for over a year, but my hard drive crashed and I lost everything. Support gave me a new registration number, and it seemed to work, except it isn't logging anything. Thanks for your help.

It hasn't logged anything ever since you have put the new new drive in and entered the ner registration in but all worked fine before??

Do you have it set to monitor all or do you have his name in there to monitor? Also, do you have any other program such as a firewall etc. and you need to allow Watch Right in?

Before the drive crashed, did you have Microsoft Spyware, or did you have Norton at at, it may be Mircrosoft that is blocking it but would first like to know if you had that before the drive crased.

I dont think I had the Microsoft spyware before. When they installed the new hard drive I think they must have added that. I did have Norton before also.

I do have it set to monitor all, and I do have Norton Internet security but I checked that and it is set to allow the watchright. Thanks

It sounds like there is a good chance the culprit is Microsoft Spyware. I haven't used the program personally so I am not sure of step by step instructions on allowing WR to monitor. Do you use this Spyware Program. A very good program do do just that is called Ad-aware SE and there is also Spybot, both of those are free and work very will and do not conflict with WR at all.

Try resetting WatchRight. I imagine since you've recently experienced a hard drive issue that WatchRight is no longer recognizing the directory it once used to store logs.

To reset WatchRight:
1. Click the Option menu in the Watch Right Access Panel, then click Reset Watch Right. At the prompt, click Yes.
At the second prompt, click OK.
2. Reboot Watch Right; you will be asked to enter a password.
Once the password has been established, enter the password again to open the Access Panel.
3. Then click Enable Watch Right and close the Access Panel.

I no longer check these boards.

The whole hard drive was replaced and that is why I am having to reinstall a new copy. I did try to reset it and it still isn't logging anything. Is there any way to download a new copy and get another registration code? I'm getting frustrated with it. Maybe the new registration code I was given doesn't work?? It accepts that code though. What do I do next??

A number of files installed on your computer that are required by WatchRight don't report correct version numbers:

Notice the version number reads "0.0"...
Try reinstalling WatchRight then post another System Information Report for me.
