Watchright .exe files being deleted by McAfee

I have had watchright for some time. It worked great initially, BUT about two or three months ago, McAfee (which has been running with it all along) began to say that one of the programs in watchright was a virus and DELETES the files without giving me the option to ignore it. I went to McAfee help and they say "it must be a virus" OR they say "tell watchright about it" so I am! I need this fixed, I paid good money and want to use the services purchased. I know others have had this problem because it was on an AOL message board a while back and the author said it hadn't yet been solved. Thanks

There is no virus or malware of any king in any of our programs. There is nothing we can do or "fix" if McAfee incorrectly identifies a file in a program that is not a virus. It is for McAfee to remove the misidentified files from their virus database.

You should however have a choice to setup McAfee in order to exclude the desired files from the scan.
