I know you are no longer selling powertools. Is there anyway I can get my reg #. I seem to have miss placed mine. Or is there a way it might be stored on my computer somewhere. I still have powertoolz on my computer. But I had to make a new account with aol. And now my power toolz will not work. It wants the reg #. Thank you

Thank you According to Jeromy, the owner decided to stop looking up reg numbers for those who didn't write it down off their computer. bpssoft.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=tips&action=display&thread=1698

Thank you also the reg number you have already is only going to work with your original AOL account (possible workaround below). When you install AOL and sign on with your account it detects the master screen name and all other screen names you have on that account (which is why you can switch screen names and also see them on the sign on screen). The master screen name which is the first in that list interacts with PT to generate a code, when you purchased PT they sent you back a registration number that would only work with that original code. If you change AOL accounts, then try to load pt over it, it detects the reg code you entered doesnt match the master screen name of your aol account and prompts you for registration, and since registration is no longer possible you wont be able to use it in anything other than trial mode. workaround, clean install AOL and attempt to log in with your original master screen name. If you can log in even if only for a second, that should then detect that master screen name and brand that AOL installation with the master screen name.... load pt it should recognise it as valid reg number and you are good to go. Assuming you no longer use that original AOL account any more, you can now sign on as "Guest" with that AOL / PT combination to access your current AOL account. Of course if you cannot access the original AOL account even for a second you can never get that "branding" done with the original AOL master screen name and you are stuck. You might get lucky if you have the an aol aol installation on your hard drive which was previously branded - try copying it over and launching pt with it.
