OK, maybe this is forbidden, but..........
Since there is no more support for lost registration numbers, has anyone cracked the code or found the algo needed to generate the registration number for those of us that purchased the program and wish to continue to use it?
Stuff happens, computers die, hard drives crash, even Microsoft will let you reinstall.
Just my two cent's worth

labratt,
Cracking isn't necessary provided you take preventative measures to protect yourself from the problems you listed above.
I've already provided plenty of links that should allow you to do the following:
1. Download ALL BPS Programs 2. Download the appropriate version of AOL for your particular version of PowerTools 3. Back-up your data (which includes your registration information)
These are also the three links supplied in EVERY post I make in my signature line below....

labratt, Cracking isn't necessary provided you take preventative measures to protect yourself from the problems you listed above. I've already provided plenty of links that should allow you to do the following: 1. Download ALL BPS Programs 2. Download the appropriate version of AOL for your particular version of PowerTools 3. Back-up your data (which includes your registration information) These are also the three links supplied in EVERY post I make in my signature line below.... The problem with that is you are expecting end users to actually read the provided documentation. Most feel they are above doing so, or plain just want to. They are the one who come back upset that no one helped them prevent it. I deal with people like this all the time who refuse to read the support page in it's entirety and then wonder why I ask them to go back and read the page this time...your answer was right there. Don't go diving for that SUBMIT button with half assed or incorrect info, coz I won't reply. :-)
