Alright, I think we can all safely agree that Powertools is the best moderation tool out there for AOL. You will not find a better one, period. If you can, someone tell me, ha.
What gets to me is having had to pay for Powertools and then finding it moot when I got a new computer with Vista. There goes money down the tube. It's not so easy for all of us to just go and re-install an earlier operating system, or create a partition. The fact that you would have to require your users to do this is ridiculous.
Seriously, Jeromy, have you had no consideration toward working on an upgrade? I know it'd be a lot of work, but people paid you for this, and no refunds were given to those who can no longer use this program.

Ryan, PT and AOL are no longer compatible since the 9.0 SE went away. It wasn't just the Vista Program. No way could BPS compete with all the Upgrades. Be thankful that Jeromy is here to offer assistance to those that need to re-register with an Older version of Windows and AOL.

Ryan,
No one paid Jeromy anything. Jeromy was a former employee of BPS Software that lost his job when the owner decided to quit working on the product and to close-up shop all together.
Fortunately, Jeromy is willing to spend his PERSONAL free-time here on the boards helping former customers of BPS via whatever limited technical support he can. He even acts as a liason between customer and BPS former owner to secure new, legitimate activation/registration keys for users.
If it were not for Jeromy, BPS would be dead completely. Rather than attack him, you should be thanking him. He has no control over working on an upgrade of the software ... he doesn't own the source code, rights to the program, etc.
Anyway ... thank you, Jeromy, for all you do.
William A Former PowerTools and I.M. Frame User

Then my apologies to Jeromy, I thought it was him who did abandoned the product (Sorry, Jer!). Blame now redirected to the owner who quit and disappointed the customers.

William,
*Thank you!*
Ryan, I think we all understand your pain,... unfortunately there is nothing that can be done now.
