Well, I've been using PT for years and it looks as though I have to retire it. I'm profoundly sad about this, but there it is. My question is, is there a way I can save the documents I've saved in the text editor? The macros I can do without, but I have tons of funny Emails and things that I'd love to save in a text format I can access outside of PT.
Is there a way?
OMy

Unfortunately, no.
You would have to manually enter them into another document (or email them all to yourself, so you can save them in email).
Sorry OMy!

I was one of the first to migrate to Vista, thinking BPS Software would need someone to check compatibility bugs once the programmer started updating and recoding for the new release. Shortly after, the programmer announced Vista would require to much work (along with some other reasons) and closed BPS.
I haven't used PowerTools (or AOL for that matter) in probably 2+ years.

Just a thought... Could Brad write a stand alone program for the PT Text Editor and PT Address Book?

Just a thought... Could Brad write a stand alone program for the PT Text Editor and PT Address Book? Considering Brad is done and over the whole PT thing, the chances are your answer would be no. However, there is another developer out there who could pull something like this off...but he ain't cheap. PM me if interested.
