I posted a question here a long time ago, nobody had an answer then, so maybe now someone might have an answer for me. For about 2 years, my buddy history list has not worked. For example, right now, I have 8 buddies online, on my buddy list, but, when I check my buddy history list, only 3 of them are on there. I am thinking of un-installing PT12, and re-installing to see if it will work better, but I'm nervous about getting a registration number.
I am using PT 12.0. 38 and aol 9.0 SE

BTW.......when I do this.......there is no BPS system info.
3. Click your mouse on the "BPS SoftWare" program group.
4. Click on "BPS System Info" and wait for the window to load completely.
5. Once fully loaded, click the "Copy to Clipboard" button on the "BPS System Info" window (nothing will happen visibly -- please do not copy anything else to the Windows Clipboard until finished.)

cheeky, It isn't uncommon for the BPS System Info link within the BPS Software start menu folder to be missing. You can also access it from within PowerTools (Help Menu > BPS System Info) You said, I posted a question here a long time ago, nobody had an answer then, so maybe now someone might have an answer for me. For about 2 years, my buddy history list has not worked. For example, right now, I have 8 buddies online, on my buddy list, but, when I check my buddy history list, only 3 of them are on there Unfortunately, unless another user can offer some insight I'm afraid that I won't be able to help you. Personally, I never found a need to use the Buddy History feature so I can't even remember how it operates. I do know that a bug does exist with this feature of PowerTools, however, now that BPS Software is closed that bug will not be corrected. I also can't remember the cause/outcome of the bug either. You said, I am thinking of un-installing PT12, and re-installing to see if it will work better, but I'm nervous about getting a registration number You could definitely try this. Uninstalling PowerTools *will* leave the registry data intact (this is where your registration and settings are stored). But, I would suggest that you make a backup of your data (see the link within my signature line) before trying anything.
