I just read about Wavman.....there is nothing on the site about being compatible with Vista, so I assume it is not....does anyone know for sure?

It is compatible with Windows Vista

thank you.........I am not THRILLED with Wavman, but it seems to be the only AOL enhancement software I can find.......

before I buy it, does anyone know of ANY software this is a little closer to Powertools and still Vista 64 bit compatible?

thank you........I searched myself, but I am not sure what keywords to use........

any imput would be appreciated......you can reply here or [e-mail], or both......I am going NUTs like all of you missing PT and trying to use AOL without it.....I need something...

You might want to find out if the author of that program will even sell it to you now...since you're not thrilled with it.

I doubt someone will turn down a sale because I said that......and I was refering to how it seems to focus more on chatting that other AOL features......

I've used all of the TPA SOFTWARE PROGRAMS ( WAVEMAN, BUDDY PLUS, IM'S PLUS ) for 10 yrs & they are very good programs. They have as much to offer AOL users as did Powertools So I am assuming that The Owner of TPA software is in it for more than the little money that he charges for his programs."Like enjoying what he does & remaining loyal to his customers.
So when you use Waveman , with his other add on programs," Buddyplus,& I'm's plus you've got a fantastic AOL addon program.

If you want to continue enjoying AOL with the special features ...read all of the features of each of TPA'S AOL ADD ON'S & I'm sure that you will find that using the BuddyPlus . Im's plus along with Waveman programs will give you as much satisfaction and the peace of mind of knowing that the owner of the program stands by his customers & responds to any technical problems that comes up in a very timely manner.


Hope this enlightens you a little more about the TPA products. I'm still enjoying AOL because of the Tpa Programs ....waveman , buddyplus, & Im's plus programs :-)

I would like to use all of the above that you mentioned since I lost my PT due to a crash. but I can get the wavman professional to work but not buddy plus, i wouldn't mind paying for them but I cannot get them to work properly, I tried them with aol 9.0 and aol 9.1. and i can't get help with them. ......

Buddy Plus isn't compatable with AOL vista at this time. I'm sure that TPA will make it compatable in the near future, He has never failed to keep his Products up todate yet :-).
