Hi i have had power tools for almost 20 years. but i had to reload them. my computer finallly died, anyways some of the chat room features aren't working on the 12. somthing. like Auto Eject. to keep bad people or band people out. when i click the button to enable it it says this feature has not been implamented yet so how do i get it implamented? Thanks. Lona

It sounds as if you might be using an older version of PowerTools.
Download the latest from the link within my signature.

I am using the 12. something. isn't this the latest version? I tried the links you sujested but seems to be no files there to download anymore,
had to go to a sight in Japan, to get another PT 12. somthing. and still auto eject isn't working.
is there a way to get hold of the person who made PT? any idea why he stoped the updates? anyways thank you for your time. Lona

Lona,
The programmer decided to close because of a number of reasons. Lack of sales (BPS Software was his full time job) and the huge recoding it would require for PowerTools to become compatible with AOL 9.0VR and Vista are the two main reasons.
I unfortunately don't even use PowerTools anymore so I can't test any problems with the auto-eject feature. I can tell you PowerTools 12.0.38 is the latest version. Are you using that version?
This is a public forum -- created for users could help users, hopefully someone here can help shed insight into this.

Lona,
I could be wrong because it's been many years since I spent any time in chatrooms (but I sure did in the old days!) but I seem to recall that AOL and/or PTs disabled the eject feature a long time ago. The eject feature was way over-used - often childishly used - and pissed off a lot of people.
But, like I said, I could be wrong.
