Once you have registered a username for this message board area, you will be able to login (and stay logged in) as a member.
Important:
How to Register
1. Click the "Register" link or button at the top of the forum window.
2. Type the desired username and password in the appropriate boxes (please note that the password is cAsE-sEnSiTiVe!! Also, DO NOT USE SPACES) Your password has to be typed twice in order to prevent mistakes.
If the chosen username is already in use by another member, or contains invalid words and/or characters, please click the "Back" button on your browser and type another username.
3. Type a valid email address in the "Email" box. This has to be typed twice in order to prevent mistakes.
AOL will block the activation code email, so we recommend you use an alternate email address when registering.
If you do not type a valid email address, you will not receive your activation code and will not be able to login!
After you have registered, your activation code will be sent to the email address you provided at the time of registration.
4. Select the month, day and year of your birthday (this is a mandatory field.) You must be at least 13 years old to use ProBoards. If the birth date you enter shows you are not 13 years old, you will not be able to register at all.
5. Read the registration agreement, scroll the page down, check the "I Agree" radio button, and then click the "Create Account" button.
Your activation code will be sent to the email address you provided.
If you do not receive your activation code right away, please wait a little bit before trying to obtain a new activation code, as every request cancels out the previous one and will only slow down the whole process. Also, make sure that your email program or email service is not blocking this type of email, or has not automatically moved the email to your junk mailbox.
Please see the topic How To Log In The First Time for more information.
Important:
- AOL automatically blocks all emails from ProBoards, so it is not possible to receive the necessary activation code with an AOL address. Please register with another address (such as Yahoo, Hotmail, Gmail, or other ISP than AOL.)
- You need to have cookies enabled in your browser in order to register a user name on this forum.
- You need to be sure that you can receive email from proboards.com and that it will not be filtered out as spam.
- If you do not receive your activation code after registering, check your spam folder to be sure it's not there. You may have entered an incorrect email address, in which case you will need to register again making sure to type the correct address.
