I found a way to generate registration numbers based on aol master screen names. since the software has been abandoned and the original author doesn't give a nuts about it or it's users anymore, what would be the harm in discussing how to give people the ability to regenerate their own numbers when they need them? seems the author can't have it both ways. we offer him money, he ignores us. he won't let someone else continue the project, he's selfish. if he don't want money and don't want anyone seeing his stupid code, then why should he care if we have the power to continue using the program if we choose to? im no lawyer, but since there is no loss of income, no one is really getting hurt, except the end users who were not ready to give up with the author. i can change this, and it would be considered a bad thing? discuss?

Afternoon friend,
I was a HOST for AOL and purchased PT years ago. Unfortunately I had to reformat and all of the registration number I had written and put in a place I would know where to retrieve them is lost.
Can you assist in my retrieval of my registration #.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank You,
midnights0n/hosthelpnight/ahccommunity

Why not just post the method of generating the codes? Have you written a program to generate the code? Do you use a spreadsheet with the formula embedded?
Or do you charge a fee for providing the code?
