Hello,

I have been trying to disable the popup window when a buddy signs on that gives you an option of closing or sending an IM.

Under PowerIM Preferences - Popup Alert I have "Don't show Popup Alerts checked, but I am still getting them. Please Advise.

That option is actually for Popup Alerts to appear so you can read incoming IMs when the PowerIM window isn't the top window.

The option you're looking for can be found by clicking on the "Alert" button on the Buddy List.
You simply need to remove the checkmark next to your individual buddies or the option "Popup Alert for all members" and click on OK.
