I have been away from using my PT's for a very long time because every time I would use them, they would only last a bit and I would get very frustrated with them as they would not allow me to search any websites after a few minutes and just keep freezing things up. So I just gave up and all the help got me no where. I waited to see if there would come a new version and go from there but now that I put them back on I can't find anything. I cannot find where to go to check for new versions, everything is very different and very very complected. So if someone can help, please email me at DJones3007@aol.com as I will not even find my way back to this area to hear back from anyone. if not I guess I am wasting my PT's that I use to love so much but now has become a headache.
Thanks Donna

Donna, PowerTools doesn't enterfere with your browsing or internet connection at all -- it simply changes the appearance and adds more functionality. However, you might want to follow these steps to clear any internet history that remains from your web browser, AOL toolbar, and PowerTools toolbar. Steps to delete Internet Cache:1. Go to Keyword: SETTINGS (on AOL) 2. Click on "Internet [Web] Options" 3. Click over to the "Clear my Footprints" tab 4. Click on the "Select Footprints to Clear" button. 5. Place a checkmark next to everything here, then click on the green "Clear Selected Footprints" button. Delete AOL Toolbar History:1. Go to Keyword: TOOLBAR SETTINGS 2. Click on the "Clear History Trail Now" button 3. Click on the "Cancel" button to close this window. Delete PowerTools Toolbar History:1. Click on the small downward facing arrow that is on the PowerTools NavBar (to the left of "Go"), this menu will appear: 2. Remove the checkmark next to "Auto-complete Keyword and Web Address Entries" 3. You will receive a prompt asking if you wish to delete any saved keyword and web address entries, click on "YES" (You may recheck the option to enable Auto-Complete.) Once you've done all of this, restart your computer. If you still have any connection issues to the web while using PowerTools, let me know.
